Hong Kong SAR, China :
In 2007, OSHC (Occupational Safety and Health Council has launched the Hong Kong Safe and Healthy) Residential Care Home Accreditation Scheme. It aims to provide the assessment criteria and accreditation procedure for the safety and health management system of residential care homes in Hong Kong, as well as encouraging residential care homes to establish a suitable safety and health management system. The system can effectively control and manage safety and health hazards arising from infection, violent conflicts, drugs management, transfer of residents and other activities. The Scheme has provided residential care homes the guidelines for establishing safety and health management system and assessment software.
