The programme covers the following safety promotion activities:

For the age group (Children 0-14 years):

• Surveying the safety in schools and compiling the school and kindergarten safety checklist.
• Issuing the certificate for school police
• Safety principles education as painting, and essay-writing competition especially about injury prevention in home, school and street.
• Preparing cds of animation film (Davood khatar)
  

Youth (15-24 years):

• Holding the special course for motorcyclists and encouraging them to enroll in motorcycling teams and participating in competitions
  

Adults (25-64 years):

• Selecting the exemplary motorcyclists in the town and awarding them safety helmets.
• Holding training courses for target group about the safety skills in workplace with regard to the type of their jobs. Implementing Guilds’ Training Plan for teaching them to prevent from traffic accidents which is determined as one of the priorities of the town

Elderly 65+years:
Holding an educational course on injury and accident prevention in elderly.

At the following environments :
Home:
Filling out the home safety checklist in the rural health and care centers and family education according to the checklist.

Traffic:
Identifying the accident – prone points by cooperation of experts ( police and road & transportation department.)

Occupational:
Promoting safety in workplaces especially safety in factories.

School:

• Filling out the school safety checklist by the health unit of the school.
• Safety education for schools which are located in the margin of streets.
  

Sport:

• Holding the special course for motorcyclists and encouraging them to enroll in motorcycling teams and participating in competitions.

Natural disaster:
Earthquake maneuver in order to Educate safety in earthquake time

Other activities:

• Holding a memorial ceremony for killed persons by traffic accidents.

• Training book on prevention of accidents will be compiled
• Writing safety mottos on the windshield by different colors (translation into English: seat belt=life belt….)
  

Programs aiming high risk groups:

Plan for replacing lamps and sticking luminous stickers on motorcycles free of charge with the help of Road Traffic Police, Traffic Department, Roads & Transportation Department, and the Health Center of the town.
