East African Safe Community Network

Objectives of the organisation are to:

- Disseminate the concept and experiences to new communities;

-Support communities in development of programmes based on the Indicators for
Safe Communities;

- Organize regional workshops and conferences;

- Raise support from states and volunteer organisations for Safe Community development;

- Monitor and document injury prevention/safety promotion activities in the region;

- Where possible, collect, analyse and disseminate data related to injury prevention/safety promotion.
